over the last few months my 14 year old daughter has lost a bunch of weight. She wasn t over weight. Now within the last month she s been waking up covered in bruises it looks like she got the crap beat out of her. Should I be worried about leukemia? There is no family history of it.

Symptoms of leukemia is persistent fever, weight loss, anorexia, nausea, liver, spleen and lymph node enlargement. etc. Your daughter has weight loss but there are many causes of weight loss. She need complete blood count first. It will give you some idea. No need to worry about leukemia without any testing. Consult your doctor and investigate first and then take treatment accordingly.
