Hello.
I have read your question, after going through the details i would like to educate you about
lung cancer.
The most common symptoms of lung cancer are;
1.
chronic cough that doesn't go away on its own after two or three weeks, doesn't relieve by antibiotics.
2. Coughing out blood, occasionally to more often.
3. Breathlessness.
4. Chest
pain while breathing or coughing.
5. Weigh loss. etc.
Any how, these symptoms don't always mean that some body has lung cancer. Some benign
chest infection that can be easily treated with antibiotics may also present with above mentioned symptoms. Hoarseness can occur due to a viral infection. The thing that matters is the duration of symptoms, if symptoms are prolonged, ie, more than 2-3 weeks then you should go to your doctor get yourself checked to eliminate your doubts and fears. Remember, the reason of prolong cough is not always a cancer.
A small lesion can be missed by a chest X-Ray. Other methods are there to detect small lesions such as
High resolution CT etc. If you have further questions i would be glad to answer them. I hope my answer will be useful for you.
Kind Regards.
