Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Menopause is a normal and physiologic process and is not something to worry about. There are some things women in menopause have to be cautious and prevent. It is important that you take calcium and vitamin D so your bones don't loose their strength, this way you will prevent fractures with falls.
You will need to have regular checks every 1-2 years to your MD for the blood pressure, sugar levels and lipids and other routine tests that every woman and especially the ones in menopause should have.
Make sure you have a healthy diet with fruit and vegetable and plenty of milk. Be watchful with the diet as women in menopause tend to gain wait and this puts them more in risk for diseases. Keep active and try to have regular exercises during the week.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Kind regards, Antoneta Zotaj, MD
