What are the symptoms of a mini-stroke? I am a PCA and my client woke up this morning very tired, could not function visually, kept repeating the same phrases over and over (what time is is? Where is the cat? (the cat was right in front of her on the bureau. She was still in bed. She wasn t hungry. Didn t want her water and almost refused her A.M. meds. Thank you Linda Gillis
Hi Stroke is accompanied by weakness of any limb or face or any part of the body. Patient is unable to move that weak part. Sometimes there's a transient attack of blindness. Your client seems disoriented & she must be assessed neurologically. It doesn't look like a stroke. Thank you for contacting HCM.
