I am a 25 y/o F w/ PMH of strep in 6/04 and bronchitis in 93. On Tuesday, I was contact w/ a patient with MRSA, and then on Thurdsay (2 days later) I ended with fever, chills, swollen lymph nodes, and white bumps on my tonsils. The doctor said I had strep throat, but i was now wondering if an MRSA cause white bumps on the back of the throat.

MRSA infection can cause symptom alike your symptom but you need to first investigated to confirm diagnosis of MRSA and then take treatment for it as Streptococcal infection can produce same illness. you should be investigated for : 1.Throat swab for culture and sensitivity 2.Blood culture and sensitivity. these two test will help you in find out MRSA and effective antibiotic to treat it . review me after investigation report then i will suggest you complete treatment .
