What Are The Symptoms Of Panic Disorder And Anxiety Disorder?
How can I know if I have panic disorder or anxiety disorder? The symptoms are similar. Can panic disorder change to anxiety disorder? I am taking linoleum now but my symptoms are changing and I want to make sure I am on the right medication. Thank you.dmorrison2253@yahoo YYYY@YYYY
The dividing line between anxiety disorder and panic disorder is very thin and most of the times their symptoms overlap each other. That is why they may be commonly called anxiety panic or panic anxiety disorder also. Anxiety symptoms become gradually more intense in minutes or hours where as panic attacks come suddenly and symptoms here are more disruptive.
In panic attacks, there is usually a sense of unreality and detachment also. I could not understand about linoleum (what salt or group of medicine it is) But if you are relieved of the symptoms, then you might be taking the right drug. It does not matter if it is anxiety disorder, panic disorder or panic anxiety disorder.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Satnarain Bansal, General & Family Physician
