I went for a slective nerve root block shot at left level c6. The doctor said the shot was completed when the following complications occurred. Upon removing the needle with the local, he said he nicked my aeorta or something which went to my brain and sent me into seizures. After that I was told i become very combatant and was subdued (heavily at this point with keyed restraints) as if i went mad. What are some future symptoms I should be concerned about from this point on. I have also heard from a respitory therapists that I may have had a mini stroke as well but she knows the entire story. Ever since this has happened, I have been having problems using my legs as well. I can use them, but for instance, I can no longer lift my left leg over 1 foot off the ground without pain.
Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist, Niraj Modi's Response
I suggest u to check with your neuro physician and also do consult with physical therapist for some exercise suggestion. And also do check your blood pressure regularly so that of there is too much fluctuation u can check with doctor. Because. Out of the time stroke happens due to blood pressure and some times with other associated issues. Take care
