I had a period last week and I started again this week could I be pregnant? That has never happen before I usually have a period every 21 days. I just start taking the iron and B12 and pernatal vitamins twice a day. I take iron 260mg and B12 2,000 mg per day. We have been trying to get pregnant.

Hi, I understand your concern. You have regular periods all the while ,& you are planning for conception -- & you had bleeding one week following your normal periods. There is possibility of early pregnancy. you should- - Get blood HCG testing done for confirming/ excluding pregnancy. In case it's positive, you have to rush to your gynecologist & get prescription of hormones to support the growth/ control the bleeding . In early pregnancy you should take folic acid pills instead of iron/vit. B12.. - In -ve test report again,a gynecologist's consultation is advised to find cause of the irregular bleeding & treatment there after. Thanks.
