General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

- Scabies classically is found between fingers, toes etc., and appears as lines
- It is possible that you were exposed to your partners clothes (the ones he wore when he was exposed) and this is setting of a reaction for you
- Poison ivy tends to cause a reaction several days after exposure
- I would suggest that you use Lacto Calamine lotion and an antihistamine like cetirizine to control the itching and inflammation
- If you start having boils/blisters or if your symptoms keep increasing, I would advise you to have a video consultation with a dermatologist

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Pranav Balakrishnan, General & Family Physician
