I was told that I have a blocked salivary gland on my left but I feel nausious all the time and i have this swollen feeling just above the roof of my mouth. Not in my throat but in behind my nose.Have severe popping in face as well.Is that signs of stones?
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain the symptoms of nausea and swollen feeling above the roof of mouth and behind the nose does not seems to be due to stones in salivary gland but the symptoms are pointing more towards sinus infection leading to Sinusitis..
I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a clinical examination and investigations like PNS view of sinuses or MRI of the sinuses can help in diagnosis and treatment can be planned accordingly..
In case of sinusitis he can advise you antibiotics, anti-inflammatory medicines, steam inhalations and saline nasal irrigation.. Steroid nasal sprays can help in reducing sinus inflammation..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora..
