What Are The Symptoms Of Uterine Fibroids Or Infertility?

Since b4 I was sexually active, I was on the pill. From 14-25. After I had no insurance I have been careful. However, once I turned 28 or s9 my periods became heavier and more painful than 3ver before with blood clotty deposits epically during the 1st couple of days. My periods on or off the pill have always been sycronized. However, upon turning 28cor so they have become remarkably heavier and more painful, and at times . as well as less predictable, and painful with more fatigue and way greater blood loss. There also are more globular blood clots and heavy periods monthly. I m worried I may have uterine fibroids, or be unfertile. What do I do???

Hi Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
Uterine fibroids can cause increased menstrual flow or heavy & prolonged menstrual periods. They are very common in females of middle reproductive age. However in most of cases they are painless & are less common to cause infertility in woman.
Heavy periods could also occur in females with no fibroids or other uterine problems. Systemic causes such as thyroid disease, excessive emotional/physical stress can also cause such problem
Endometriosis could be the reason of abnormal heavy & painful menstruation. They are extension of the endometrial tissue outside of the uterus tries to shed causing painful and abnormal bleeds. However extension of the endometrial tissue into the wall of the uterus is also present in some cases. Endometriosis commonly causes infertility.
They are both diagnosed by ultrasound imaging of uterus & pelvic organs. Therefore undergo a complete checkup & ultrasound by consulting a gynaecologist.

Refer to a gynaecologist
Hope this information helps
