What Are The Symptoms To Look Post Electric Shock?

Hi. My son was in his friend's house and he was shocked by electricity through his finger tips about 30 min. ago. Other than some minor pain at his finger tips (which is getting better now), he looks quite normal and has no problem. Do I still need to see a doctor?

Dear.as you described it seems that the duration of contact was very transient and it's low voltage burn. . The problem with electric burn is that it may not be very visible superficially but it causes extensive damage to underlying structures such as nerves Tendon and muscle . Apart from this some time it causes rhythm disturbance also..so it is always better to consult a doctor. He can assess the extent of burn and possible complications . If it's only superficial burn then everything will be alright in 3 to 4 days with local application of a antibiotics only as his burn mark will heal . Hope this will help.
