Also when i get up my head starts to throb and i feel dizzy, this goes away in a matter of seconds . Whats wrong with me?
Hi and thanks for the query, Do not worry. You are just suffering from acute pharyngitis. Usually it is viral and so it will produce systemic symptoms like tiredness, headache, weakness, loss of appetite etc. Follow some general measures .. 1) Drink plenty of fluids. 2) Do warm salt water gargling 4 times a day. 3) Get adequate rest. 4) Avoid cold foods and air conditioning. You can take any over the counter pain killers. If you do not feel better in the next few days you should see a doctor. Regards, Dr Kishori.
