What Are The Treatments For Swelling And Tingling In Tongue And Difficulty In Swallowing?
Hi. My tongue feels swollen and is tingerling. It's also quite awkward to swallow. Food hurts when it is going down my throat and causes heartburn. I recently used some fresh breath spray and I'm wondering whether I'm having an allergic reaction. I've gargled with salt water and taken ibrofen which has taken the swelling down slightly. But I still have trouble eating and still have this tingerling sensation.
Yes it is likely that you have developed an allergic reaction to the spray ad must not take it again. I would also like you to meet your doctor immediately as the reaction may spread to your larynx ( voice box) and cause difficulty in breathing. Please meet your doctor soon! Thanks
