What Are The Uneven Red Rings On My Arm?

got the Implanon birth control inserted in my arm today, but I am not having second guesses or worries about the contraceptive itself, I am more worried about what my arm looks like now. It might be nothing, but it might also be something to worry about. Here it is:-My arm hurts from my upper mid-back (back of my shoulder) all the way down to my elbow-The entire area, including both spots where they shot me with Lidocaine, it raised, white and splotchy, but not much bruising-Around the aforementioned white splotch there is an uneven red ring (this was my main trigger for worry, I see red circles around new wounds and I think INFECTION)
