Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries

I can understand your concern. I can understand your concern. I will come to the drugs your father is taking one by one-

- Pactane is tryhexyphenidyl and the drug is an anticholinestrase inhibitor drug. The drug is used to prevent EPS side effects of antipsychotic drugs. The drug is also used in parkinson's syndrome. Over all the drug is safe but may cause increased risk of insomnia, restlessness, anxiety, slurred speech etc.

- Tolperisone is a new muscle relaxant drug. The drug help in various pain conditions. The drug is safe to use.

- Lonazap is a hypnotic drug. The drug is known to cause sedation but if taken without prescription regularly then it may cause dependence.

- Vibrinia D is a multiple nutrient supplement drug. It is safe to use.

Please give him the drugs as per prescription only.

Hope this helps you. Thanks. Take care
