Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi I am having a fare up of dystonia, I have been on Olanzapine, various doses, for 20 years. However for the past two years I have taken 5mg every other night after my dystonia started in 2013 after exploring this with a very humanistic GP. So I have been put on procyclodine 2.5mg for this flare up of dystonia. my question is what are the side effects of withdrawl after I have finished this course?
The number of symptoms, the nature of their severities and how long they persist will vary by individual. Some of these withdrawal symptoms may include: Anger, appetite change, dehydration, fatigue, body aches, depression, sweating, anxiety, headaches, insomnia, memory problems, panic attacks, restlessness, suicidal thoughts, weight loss, etc.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Gjustina Loloci, Allergist and Immunologist
