What Are The Withdrawal Symptoms Of Clonidine?

I have been on clonidine for a long time 0.1 in am and 0.2 in pm. Also taking metoprolol 50mg bid. Started 2 weeks ago on norvasc 5 mg at bedtime. I mentioned to my doctor that I was so tired and sleepy in class in am. told to stop clonidine and if that did not work then we could also half the metoprolol dose. What I would like to know is their any type of withdrawal symptoms coming off clonidine?

I really appreciate your concern, clonidine does not have any withdrawal unless patient have some functional manifestation regarding this and it is very likely to happens else no need to worry about this, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
