Hi welcome to HCM.... Here you can have pharyngitis or tonsilitis like infective etiology .... It could be viral or bacterial.... Investigate with CRP , CBC ... If CBC shows high neutrophils : antibiotic needed If lymphocytosis : viral cause conservative treatment done Also rule out streptococci infection by ASO titre .... Drink more water ... Salt water gargles done .... Avoid excess spicy and fried food for few days .... Take benadryl like decongestent drug ... If still no improvement than throat swab taken for that ... Advise : physician consultation for examination and lymph node palpation. Take care
