What Are Violent Dreams During Early Pregnancy Suggestive Of?

I am 5-8 weeks pregnent. I keep having dreams of meach being violently raped and abused and watching others be murdered and then me dying in the process to save them. They are very disturbing and I just want to make sure my dreams will in no way affect my baby. I also want to know how far along I really am. The last day of my last period was may 9th.

Hello,

I think the dreams you are having are not much related to pregnancy or will effect it. They can be sign of not good sleep. You may start to avoid seeing films that are related to that content. Try to sleep well. Avoid caffeine and taurine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
