Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it seems that the white coated tongue seems to be most probably de to yeast infection also known as
Oral Thrush..
Although small amounts of yeast is always present inside mouth but when the yeast grow in large amounts it leads to infection..
It can occur due to causes like poor immunity, stress,
dry mouth, intake of medicines like antibiotics and steroids,
diabetes etc..
I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like microscopic examination of scrapings from the tongue can help in confirmation of diagnosis..
In case if thrush is confirmed as the diagnosis, you can be advised to take antifungal medications like Nystatin mouthwash and and
Clotrimazole lozenges.
Take plenty of probiotics like Yoghurt and garlic..
Drink plenty of water..
In case if still it does not improve then oral antifungals like
Fluconazole can help..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
