Hello,

Herpes, syphilis, or HPV can sometimes present with sores, white patches, or swelling. If you had recent unprotected sex, get tested; it is crucial. You will be treated with antibiotics or antivirals. UTI causes a burning sensation, but it does not cause white patches. Get urinalysis (C/S and R/E). Take care of your hygiene. Avoid unprotected sex. Drink adequate amount of water.

Do not use harsh soaps and scented products around the affected area. Take sitz bath. If white patches are thick plaques, it can be a fungal infection. Applying Clotrimazole cream to the affected area will help to reduce symptoms. Avoid sex or any sexual activity for a couple of days till you heal.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
