What Can Be Done For Aspergers Syndrome For My Husband In His 70s?

My husband is in his seventies and we have been married for five years and repeats a variety of the same sentences on a daily basis. He is a PHD and highly intelligent. It is difficult for him to have a normal conversation unless it is something he is interested in. He seems to live in his own world and does not spend his own personal time with me. He seems to prefer to be alone reading books or watching TV. I have researched this and think he has aspergers syndrome. Can you

First of all, Asperger's syndrome occurs in childhood and it does not occur suddenly in the elderly. You husband could have depression and he needs mainly psychotherapy and some medications. You can ask a psychiatrist for help.
