Hey doctor. I am 14 years old and sufferingfrom pimples on my face. It s been more than a year. I consulted a homeopath, he advised me to use *aqui care* cream and apply it twice a day, I did so for 4 days but it didn t show any betterment. Please suggest me some remedy?
Acne is a very common problem among teens. While proper treatment of acne gives good results, trying homeopathy and home made remedies may not be effective Or can in fact produce counterproductive results and sometimes unsightly scars.
I suggest you to use a topical clindamycin Or benzoyl peroxide gel for day time appliaction along with a topical retinoid gel once daily for night time application e.g Adapalene.
While clindamycin and benzoyl peroxide are antibacterial agents and help to decrease inflammatory acne, benzoyl peroxide in addition is also a keratolytic agent and bleaching agent.
Topical retinoids e.g Adapalene, is a first line antiacne medication and help to exfoliate existing comedones as well as prevent development of new comedones.
I would advice that you see a dermatologist and get a proper antiacne prescription rather than trying homeopathy or home remedies
regards
