Hi, I have recently had the thyroidectomy surgery and after a couple of days I have been experiencing fast spreading non itchy rashes starting to appear on my leg and then arms. They look red in day time and turn to a kind of brown at nights. What could it be and what shall I do? Thanks
After reading your query there can be multiple reasons for the rash including simple allergic dermatitis to certain allergens in day to day life.
I suggest you to not to scratch any of the area as it can cause more aggravation of the problem as well as spreading of the rash.
Do cold compression or warm water compression. In my patients I suggest to apply fluticasone cream and to take antihistamine like loratadine or cetrizine by mouth.
All the best.
