What Can Be Expected From A Lung Cancer Patient Who Had To Discontinue Chemotherapy Because Of Pneumonia?

My brother has stage iv nsclc (lung Tumor 1.5cm) with meta to brain. He has had radiotherapy and began chemo but had to stop after 2 treatments due to getting pnuemonia. He has lost lots of weight and is currently not eating/drinking other than a small bowl if porridge every day, he says he can t swallow?? Yesterday he had an energy burst and ate a big meal, is this normal or is it part of the end of life process??

Your brother is suffering from stage 4 cancer and since he cannot continue chemotherapy due to pneumonia now aim of treatment should be basic supportive care as he may not survive for too long.
If he cant swallow then i would suggest u put ryles tube put by a doctor which would help food enter his stomach.
