What Can Be The Affect Of Smoking Marijuana During Pregnancy?

Hi iam 27weeks pregnant and i was smokin weed the beginning of my pregnancy i stopped around the middle of july and my due date is Ocotber 20 iam so scared and been stressing that it might come out would i and the baby be clean by then? Please let me know as soon as possible

I understand your concern.
marijuana smoking in pregnancy is known to cause to increase the possibility of birth defects in baby. Even if birth defects are not seen at birth, the baby may have brain defects,which are seen in later phase of life.
So it's advised to be away from marijuana smoking in pregnancy.
It's good that you have withdrawn it at 6th month of pregnancy. It will result in more chances of full term delivery of the baby. The chances & grade of defects will reduce due to less exposure to the drug.
However the possibility of birth defects developed in first two trimasters remain & are to be taken care of after birth.
