What Can Be The Effects Of Missed Dose Of Atenolol?

I m used to taking my Atenelol at night but last night I skipped it so I took it around 9:30 this morning. Not thinking, I took it again around 10:45 tonight. It s been about 45 minutes since I took it and my blood pressure is aroun 105/65. It usually runs around normal while on the medicine. This is when I normally go to sleep but am wondering if I should stay up for a little bit to see how I do....is this dangerous?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that your blood pressure would drop further but using some fluids and a very small amount of salt should prevent this for occurring.

You can do this and recheck it in the morning.

You can take it at your usual time tomorrow once your blood pressure is in its normal range.

I hope this helps
