What Can Be The Negative Effects Of Duromine Dieting Pill On Fetus?

Hi

From 23/02/2015 till 06/03/2015 I took Duromine dieting pill, prior to that I did a pregnancy test which came out negative. My last menstrual cycle was on 10/02/2015, I did another test today 25/02/2015 just to make sure as I took the Duromine - test was negative. I did a test today 17/03/2015 as my cycle is late - test is positive. Im positively pregnant!!! What are the side effects of the tablet & pregnancy.

Hello and welcome.

Duromine has been contraindicated for pregnant women, but the truth is that there have been absolutely no tests conducted over the last 4-5 decades on duromine use during pregnancy and so we cannot ascertain the exact effects of the drug during pregnancy and the effect on the fetus. But many women who have accidentally continued taking duromine not knowing that they are pregnant have reported few or no side effects at all.

Please continue your pregnancy and just request your doctor to make sure all is well from time to time.
