I have a lump under my arm right above the pit. There is a circular component that is about the size of a quarter. It also extends in an oblong pattern about 3 inches. The circular part is very soft and prominent but the other seems a little more firm and slightly painful and more vague. My doc is referring me to a surgeon. He feels like it is a lypoma but is concerned because it grew very rapid (seemed like overnight) would this provide any clue to lypoma versus lyposarcoma?
