What Can Cause A Bump Near A Freshly Pierced Area?

I got my 3rd hole pierced in my ear on October 19 2013. Today on December 9 2013 I noticed a bump that was very close to my 3rd hole. So I took my earring out and the bump started to bleed. So I cleaned it up and put my earring back in. I was just wondering what the bump is and if I should take out my earring .
