Hi I was having pregnancy symptoms and went to the dr. The ultrasound showed a thicker lining so she did a urine test. One came back inconclusive so the second one they did was negative. Bc of the inconclusive and the thick lining and the symptoms she ordered a blood test. My question is what determines a test to be inconclusive
DEAR, urine pregnancy test is based on the b hcg amount secreted in urine, some times when the amount of b hcg is in low levels in urine the UPT may come faintly positive or negative that is called inconclusive upt, blood b hcg measurements are used to confirm the pregnacy when upt is inconclusive. hope my answer satisfies u.
