My child with 9 years is having TSH 18 T3 & t4 normal. USG shows ill defined nodules and enlarged cervical lymph nodes Doctor started 25 mcg of thyronorm. She is complaining something in throat in between Whether I have to consult the doctor immediately

Your child is having subclinical hypothyroidism and repeat TSH after 2 months to titrate the dose. Get an anti TPO antibody find to identify the pathology. You have not mentioned the size of nodule. If it is more than 1cm and if the lymph node is abnormal, consider a fine needle aspiration cytology test. Lump feeling is is unlikely to be due to thyroid... moreover nothing to be worried about.
