What Can Cause Bleeding In Vagina After Contraceptive Pills?

I m using oc pills from 6 months and yesterday i did nt eat properly i just one meal and today morning i had loose motions and some blood came from my vagina .I m unmarried and i m using oc pills because i hv a fibriod . So is it normal to hv bleeding suddenly ??I m 24 years old , my height is 5.3 ,

Hello,

You have been taking oral contraceptive pills as prescription medicine for your fibroid. You have been diagnosed with fibroid. Now you are experiencing bleeding almost suddenly. Since you have history of having fibroid, you are suggested to get clinically examined by an OBGYN. Get routine blood tests and investigations done. Get repeat USG(Uterus) done so that the pathology causing you symptoms can be managed and treated.

You will be given conservative treatment, your symptoms should reduce. In case, it does not; your treating doctor will suggest you surgery. Stay away from stress and anxiety. Avoid addictions if any. Take home made nutritious food rich in iron, minerals & protein.

Hi,

It seems you had skipped OC pill due to digestive upset. This can cause withdrawal bleeding due to skipped OC pill.
