What Can Cause Bloody Diarrhea After Having Junk Food?

Today, I have gone twice bathroom and have had diarrhea but it comes out red and has the scent of blood but still has the scent of the food which was fish I’ve recently eaten. The day before I ate a lot of Hot Cheetos and Coke so I don’t know if it is serious or just too much junk food

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

I would like to let you know that blood in the stool is not a normal thing. It can be due to infection in the bowel due to bacterias which may be present in the food you ate. This bacterial infection can contribute to acute GE, which is causing the blood in stool and diarrhea. Do not worry and consult your doctor for the treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. MD Aamir Sohail,
General Surgeon
