Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husband has had three heart attacks. Today he experienced extreme thirst, followed by vomiting and weakness, however his blood pressure is around 154/77 with pulse of 67-80 which is quite normal for him. He will not let me take him to the hospital. He is 86, diagnosed with several blockages which cannot be treated surgically. I don t understand the extreme thirst?
HI Well come to HCM Low water in take could be the reason, second because of hyperacidity this could be the reason, first ask him to drink more water, simultaneously following medicines can be tried, 1) Tab Omeprazole 40 mg once in day 2) Tab Domperidone 30 mg once in day this is nothing to worry this would come around soon, take care.
