What Can Cause High Level Of Sgot And Sgpt?
hellow doctor,i am 30y old man recently i have check LFT and found Hight level of SGOT (74) and SGPT(200) and total cholestrol is 272.i am not using alchahole now.why this SGPT and SGOT raising like anything and every time i am check liver my SGPT seems to be on higher side.pl adive me on this

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. Most likely reason in you is fatty liver which is nothing but deposition of fat in liver and damages liver leading to elevated Sgot and Sgpt. So low sugar, low fat diet and regular exercises with weight loss will help. Also get viral hepatitis test done like HBsAg, and Anti HCV.
