What Can Cause High Starch In Stool Of An Infant Suffereing From Eczema?
My child, 8/5 months old, has been suffering from skin eczema for quite a while. Our doctor ordered a stool collection to test for a variety of possible conditions. The test was okay except for that it showed that there was a great deal of starch in stool. I wonder if it’s because I eat potatoes or other food that contain starch? Can starch and other ferments get into my milk from the food I eat? Or is it only because he’s been on solid food that contains starch? I was wondering if you might have any suggestion?
