What Can Cause Lumps Above The Belly Button?

Hi I have a small pea sized hard lump above the belly button maybe an inch and a half to the left. It moves when I roll my finger over it. I noticed it about 4 months ago. When I lie down it is more difficult to feel.. It doesn t seem to have grown particularly. I ve had loose stools on and off for the last week. I ve had no other symptoms. Do you have any idea what the lump could be

Hi
I understand your concern.
In my opinion the swelling which you are having might be umbilical hernia .
If it has not progressed for a long time and is small in size then there is no need to consult a surgeon.
But if the swelling is increasing progressively and is of large size tgen you should consult your surgeon
Hope this information helps.
Wish you good health
