At least 3 months wait should be done before workup of ameonorrhea in patients with previously normal menstruation. All this occurs because of Harmonal imbalance, disorder in hypothalamic-pitutary -gonadal axis. At the moment forget about other things, go for ultrasound abdomen and transvaginal ultrasound as pain in vagina is correlating with adhesions. Take Gyneric tablets (combination of estradiol and progestrone) one tablet a day on two consecutive days at the same time and wait for a couple of days for menses. if problem still persists for at least three months then you have to do workup.
