What Can Cause Pain In The Pelvic Area That Radiates Into The Thighs?

I am a 64 year old woman. I have had 3 children with no complications. I did not take estrogen for menopause nor did I take birth control pills. I have had discomfort in my left pelvic area that sometimes radiates into my thigh. I do not have constipation or more gas than normal. I do not have any insurance. Thoughts on what this could be?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I have gone through your history and understand your concern. Left side pain could be due to colon pain and thigh pain caused by radiating nerve pain. Get your pelvic ultrasound to rule out the cause for the same.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Richa Agarwal
