What Can Cause Severe Cramping And Passage Of Gas?

Hello i am a 38 year old female last month i had severe cramping went to the Er and they did not find anything when i got home to relax and started to pass gas the pain would go away for a little bit the i took a mylanta pill and drank prune juice and started to pass gas and move my bowls. now this month the cramping has come back i ate pasta on tuesday with sauce wensday had peanuts and pretzels and today i had severe cramping again i laid down then drank some prune juice and took mylanta had diariha with and now i am passing gas and the pain is gone
