Hello,

As most patients do have this common complaint of shaking of the hand, pain at the needle insertion site, etc. As this is one of the common reaction of the needle puncture and most patients do suffer that. Using icing will help easy the pain and doing simple hand exercises will also reduce the shaky feeling. It's common and nothing to worry.

Regarding dizziness, we need to check other things like HR, BP, Pulse, Etc. but I don't think it is anywhere connected to the IV insertion by any means.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
