Hi,

The metallic taste is commonly observed side effect of Flagyl. If on repeat exposure of Flagyl and Cipro you are experiencing shortness of breath and other symptoms like rashes and fever, it might be allergic reaction associated with both the drugs.

My advice is to consult a physician and get pheniramine maleate injection and oral corticosteroids if the physician recommends. Avoid future use of this class of drugs and get keep ADR card with you to make aware other physicians of this ADR.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
