What Can Cause Weakening Of Voice?
What can cause weakening of voice? I am a male in my late fifties. My voice used to have volume and depth but seems weaker and my dad has a hard time understanding me. My voice seems even more faint in the afternoons. Is this hormonal, thyroid-related, or something worse?

Your symptoms seem to be related to larynx may be laryngitis.These donot seem to be related to Thyroid.Try to have voice rest for few days & if it does not work then you should seek advice of an E.N.T. specialist.
