What Can Explain The Onset Of Dull Testicular Pain After Sexual Encounter?

I had some dull pain in my testicles right after I had sex with my fiancé and it has lasted for 2 weeks. A few days after I had the pain I went to the doctor and got started on antibiotics. They seemed to help a bit but after a week it wasn't fully away. My physician had me start on alive to see if it was a torsion and the pain my my testicles has mostly gon away and now I have pain right behind my ballsack. What could it be?

Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Your symptoms are most likely caused by prostate inflammation (it is located between the anus and the scrotum). Testis inflammation, epidydymis are also possible.
Prostate inflammation can give pain in the rectum, lower abdominal pain, testis pain. Symptoms can come and go.
With testis pain it is always very important to rule out a cancer. That is why you definitely should have testis ultrasound. Please also consult urologist.

Hope this will help.
Regards.
