My son age 12 appears to have a vein bulging in his left arm distal radial nearly halfway between wrist and elbow joints. Not warm or red or itching no aparent bruise or discoloration. He describes as sore like a bruise more above area than on or near wrist but sore from elbow to wrist. When lightly stroking from elbow to wrist he describes a tingeling sensation. Just noticed this morning
hello.to help you i need to see the the arm and examine it personally to come to a conclusion.According to my opinion he may have developed a peipheral vascular disease, probably there is a temporary clot in his vein leading to blood collection and bulging. But you said its since one day,it might also be possible that he had some hidden and unnoticed injury leading to those symptoms. presence of tingling sensations point mostly towards a vascular disease. But also note that whether he is not developing weakness in his arm.Consult a physician and get it examine directly to come to a definite conclusion.
