What Cases Dark Menstrual Bleeding?
My period always start on the3Rd of every month..last month it started on the 26th with dark blood and lasted for 2full days when I normally have a 6day cycle and this month it 7/28 and it extremely dark almost purple I m 40 years old and my husband and I are trying for a baby not sure what s going on I ve never experienced this with our first child

problem in conceiving may be due to hormonal imbalance and pathological disease of female genital or may be due problem in male.so first get all test like for female cbc,thyroid profile and ultrasound of lower abdomen test done.
for male semen analysis test done.
if you are trying for one year only then you should wait and try at least for 6 months during ovulation period which is 11th to 18th day after menses.when maximum chances for conceiving.otherwise follow above instruction.
