What Casues Burning Sensation In The Muscles Below The Pelvic Joints?

I am a 60 yr. old man. Sometimes I have a problem standing up . My right leg locks up where it joins my pelvis. It has been doing that for a few yrs. . Now I have a constant burning in the muscle right below the joint and it burns all the way down to my knee. Any ideas?

Hello,

This looks like a more of the disc Degenerative changes leading to nerve entrapment in its course.

As you are 60 and having trouble with the hip joint stability and burning sensation and burning sensation is radiating up to the knee I will advise you to do McKenzie maneuver and see if the burning sensation is subsided. You can check McKenzie maneuver online.

Post this doing hot water fermentation to the lower back and hip muscles, doing core stability exercise, spinal muscle strengthening exercises, hip muscle strengthening exercises, static hamstring, static quadriceps will help improve the overall muscle strength and reduce symptoms.

Do side and forward lunges to improve the joint stability as well.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
