Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I woke up this morning feeling like there was something in my left ear canal--no pain. I used my swimming drops, but didn t help. Later, I felt dizzy and developed some nausea and a slight headache. Tonight I don t feel at all like eating and the dizziness is still there, but my ear no longer feels blocked.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have dizziness and nausea. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like vertigo, inflammation within the inner ear sometimes due to infection, side effects of certain medications and heart condition, meniere's disease , complication of surgery , sinusitis and migraines . For now take steam 2-3 times a day ,avoid bending forward, take proper rest and drink green tea with ginger thrice a day. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order test like rotatory chair test , posturography , blood test and CT scan . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics along with antiemetic drug , decongestant and expectorant.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
